There are two recent trends that we would like to highlight: rompers and platform shoes, but you knew that already!
We ran into these two lovely ladies on two consecutive mornings last week and just had to share.
One paired an easy top with white pants (the ultimate summer pant color) and finished off with black platform shoes du jour and a black tote bag. The second fashionista chose a beautiful embroidered romper with long sleeves.
Let's take a moment to recognize just how COOL rompers with long sleeves are. So chic. She finished the outfit with flats and a beautiful Prada bag with some cute Fendi pompoms.

The wonderful, whacky, and wild outfits worn by NYC's chicest on NYC's everyday catwalk: the streets. They don't call it 'The Concrete Jungle' for nothing. (Snapped from behind to protect the fabulous). Instagram: thedrasticallyblog

M'am, Aren't You Cold?
Sometimes we walk around New York City and realize that no, it is not actually the Fashion Capital of the World. Case in point: we saw this woman walking on Madison Ave a few weeks ago and were not sure what she tried to accomplish. Or perhaps...she got dressed in a hurry to deliver the documents in her hands?
In any case, there are many women who think wearing flats any time of the year is perfectly fine.
But here's a rule: if it's cold enough to reach for a fur coat, it is probably smarter and fashion-forward to wear boots. This is just tragic.
